This explains what we collect when you use Nemi, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short, and we don't sell your data.
N°01 Who we are
Nemi Cards is run by Nemi Development Limited, a company registered in England & Wales. We're the data controller for the information described here. For anything privacy-related, contact elliott@nemicards.com.
N°02 What we collect
- Account details — your name and email, whether you use Sign in with Apple or give them to us directly.
- Recipient details — the name and postal address you enter for each card.
- Your content — the photos, videos and voice notes (your "bites") you upload for a card.
- Order & payment details — what you ordered and when. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never store your full card number.
- Technical data — basic device and usage information, and the scan and play events on the watch page that tell you a card was received and viewed.
N°03 How we use it
- To print, post and deliver your cards.
- To host the watch page so your recipient can play the bite.
- To take payment and send you order updates.
- To provide support and keep the service secure.
- To understand how Nemi is used so we can improve it.
We only use your photos and videos to fulfil your order and host the watch page — never for advertising.
N°04 Who we share it with
We share the minimum needed with trusted providers who help us run Nemi: our print & postage partner (to make and mail the card), our payment provider (to take payment), and our hosting and infrastructure providers (to store media and run the app and watch page). They may only use your data to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data.
N°05 Storage & retention
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Uploaded media is kept so recipients can replay the bite; you can ask us to delete it. Some data may be processed outside your country by our providers, under appropriate safeguards.
N°06 Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, close your account, or object to and restrict certain processing, by emailing elliott@nemicards.com. We'll respond within the timeframes required by law.
N°07 Cookies
The website uses only the cookies needed to make it work and to measure basic traffic. We'll ask before setting anything non-essential.
This is a starting-point policy for our pre-launch site and may be updated before Nemi goes live. We'll always post the current version here.
